GlobalSim is having a busy and successful year in Panama with various organizations. PECAMAR, a company that provides services to different ports in Panama, has installed an Essential Simulator to train operators with Terminal Tractors. The initial simulator was installed several months ago and had such immediate success that PECAMAR has purchased two new desktop Intro simulators to satisfy their training demands. UMIP (International Maritime University of Panama) has awarded GlobalSim with the upgrade of their Intro (desktop) simulator to the mid-tier Essential solution. The new simulator will provide motion to their training experience and provide much more realism with large format HD displays. They will also be able to include virtual reality into their training. "We're seeing a lot of activity throughout Latin America" remarks GlobalSim's International Sales Director, Oscar Delgado. "Panama is an important location for ports and maritime and these organizations (PECAMAR and UMIP) are leading the way with crane training and simulation."
