GlobalSim is pleased to announce an installation of a new full mission crane simulator featuring a dual hoist STS crane as well as a mobile harbor crane at the training center for port workers in Antwerp, Belgium. The state of the art full mission system features 8 visual channels and a full cabin on a three DOF motion base.
“This is a new state-of-the-art crane simulator brings us very close to reality. Our trainees will be better prepared than ever to start working in the actual practice. It really adds great value to our training center,” states Ann Baats, manager of OCHA training center for port workers.
In addition to the full mission simulator, they also recently upgraded their GlobalSim Essential simulator by adding additional visual channels and models.
GlobalSim and OCHA continue a partnership that has lasted well over a decade. OCHA will be present to answer questions at the GlobalSim booth at TOC Europe Conference June 14-16th in Hamburg, Germany.
