GlobalSim Concludes Successful User Conference

Last week GlobalSim held its first-ever user conference since becoming an independent company. Clients came from across the world to participate in the 2-day event which was held in Utah at the GlobalSim headquarters. “The event turned out to be a huge success – we had clients come from as far away as Belgium and Thailand,” said Don Olson, Vice President of Operations, who was the principal planner of the conference. The conference included a wide variety of topics and sessions designed to educate and train clients. Two different GlobalSim clients presented workshops that highlighted their respective training centers in Montreal, Ontario, Canada, and in Antwerp, Belgium. Along with the client workshops, GlobalSim conducted presentations and training sessions on scenario development, upcoming software development, service and support programs, among other topics. Attendees got to see the latest equipment and practice on the Full Mission GlobalSim simulators that have recently been manufactured at the GlobalSim headquarters. “The networking and idea sharing between clients was fantastic – that’s one of the key reasons we held this User Conference so that our clients could communicate, share ideas, and learn from each other” explained Olson. On consecutive nights, GlobalSim hosted a group dinner in downtown Salt Lake City and at Snowbird Ski Resort where clients could mingle with one another and visit with GlobalSim management and employees. “We had some terrific feedback, those who attended were happy with the education, learning, and many indicated they want to participate again at our next user conference.”
