GlobalSim hosted the 2022 Conference on October 10-13. Over 50 people representing institutions in over 12 countries participated in the event.

Participants were also able to test and demo various different GlobalSim simulators during the open house event on October 12 – 13. A Full Mission simulator featuring GlobalSim’s latest STS crane model was on display. Additionally, multiple VR units were showcased during the open house event.
Models demonstrated or discussed include: straddle carrier simulator, sts crane simulator, rtg crane simulator, mobile harbour crane simulator, RoRo simulator, ship pedestal crane simulator, tower crane simulator, and a forklift simulator.
