History of Global Sim
1993 - Company founded as a division of Jason & Associates. Primarily builds military simulators.
1998 - Develops its first crane simulator as part of a project for the US military.
2003 - Becomes independent company and is renamed GlobalSim, Inc.
2005 - GlobalSim Delivers first crane simulator system with plasma screen technology.
2007 - Completes Battle Stations 21 project for the US Navy.
Worlds largest crane simulator - Casablanca, Morocco
Full Mission Simulator
2008 - GlobalSim is acquired by Konsberg Gruppen based in Norway.
2011 - Completion of the largest crane simulator in the world for ANP in Casablanca, Morocco.
2016 - GlobalSim employees re-acquire company from Kongsberg Gruppen.
2016 - Introduction of the industry's first Virtual Reality (VR) Crane Simulator.
2019 - Completion of custom RMG Simulator project for Duisport in Duisburg, Germany.
2017 - 5th Generation Full Mission System introduced and delivered to NYSA in New York.
2020 - Full Mission Systems installed in Felixstowe, UK & Tauranga, NZ during COVID pandemic
2021 - GlobalSim delivers 8 crane simulators to the US Army at Fort Leonard Wood
2022 - GlobalSim delivers first Bridge Crane Simulators to automotive industry.
2024 - Introduction of GlobalSim CLOUD simulator and subscription service.
